http://lancasteronline.com/article/local/805353_Cabela-s-drops-out-of-Eastern-Sports-and-Outdoors-Show.html

"Due to recent changes made by Reed Exhibitions [regarding the show] Cabela's will no longer sponsor this year's event. After careful consideration regarding Cabela's business practices, and the feelings of our customers, Cabela's will, unfortunately, not have a presence at the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show."

There is also a very long list of people not supporting the show on the site.

Saw That. Cabela's was one of the few vendors whose name I recognized. Another reason to support those who support us.

Primos makes duck calls? The only ones I've ever noticed were for deer. Of course, this could have something to do with the fact that I'm not a duck hunter.

Whitetail adrenaline is also boycotting the show.
Apparently they forgot who their attendees were when the made the decision to oust the black rifles. I hope no one shows up for it.

Who are these companies trying to impress? They stop selling like CTD did, and now a gun show won't allow sporting rifles. The only people they impress with there actions, are people that are not buying guns anyway. Stand by the second amendment, or get out of the gun business.

Good call Cabela's!

A gun show that won't sell a certain gun.....ugh, doesn't make sense to me.

I got a big fat normal CTD catalog yesterday, so for giggles I tried looking up some of the stuff in it - nope, all gone!

Then I was thinking I should really get off their mailing list, but it dawned on me that their cost to print and distribute that thing is much higher than my cost to shred the address flap and toss it in recycling or use it for kindling. 8-)
