Apperantly the house video people thought enough of Robb and Andrew's demo to carve out a clip of them:

Well done, Gents!

Stop saying "Uhhh" so much. Rehearse your testimony.

I refuse to watch myself. However, I agree with that assessment. NEXT time, I will have more of a script, and not just talking points.

I doubt I would have got my own name out.

I expect training, practicing, rehearsal would help those of us who don't speak in such arenas.

That said,
Thanks for taking time to attend and speak.

Great job. You did much better than I would have that's for sure. Your points were very valid and easy enough, I think, for the layman to understand why.

Thank you so much for your time and effort.
Again, well done!

Toastmasters is the target range of public speaking. Might check out a group near you if you'd benefit from practice. I did.

Unlike the antis - GOCRA and the other opponents don't bring in professional speakers to make our points for us. We speak as experienced and safe citizens and firearm owners - and we speak from the heart.

Congrats to RobD on showing a great example of the folly of HF241!

I was there, and thought Rob did a great job with the 10-22 demonstration. He spoke not as a paid shill, but as a concerned Minnesota citizen.
Rob made his points well, he was clear and understandable. Kudos for him and Andrew going to all the trouble to make that demo happen.

This was certainly one of the best rebuttals to "what scary features make an 'assault weapon'"that I have seen given to a committee. Bringing in the 10/22's was also an amazing idea to demonstrate the stupidity inherent in this bill. Thank you for being a voice for the rest of us owners!

Agree... was a combination of extending my testimony from 3 mins to 10 at the very last min, (thanks to the proponents eating up all the time, and the chair dropping a bill) and the 20 cameras that were 2 feet away from me. All that was going through my mind was "dont let your finger go anywhere near that trigger).

As other have pointed out, I'm not a professional speaker... But I believe the content was spot on, and once I got to my prepared part, the verbal diarrhea stopped.

Note that Chief Dolan couldn't say 3 words without looking down at his speech.
