It puts the rest of the politicians on notice (they pay attention to those sorts of messages).

Now they need to work on getting pro-liberty majorities in the legislature, and a new governor. Then they can start to repair the damage.

This is huge -- and the other side is trying desperately to spin it as the NRA pumping in massive amounts of money/time.

WRONG. Bloomberg pumped in massive amounts of money and time...and still lost.
