I didn't see anything about the size, but how low power would that have to be?

The purpose of a firearm in a defensive situation is to make the other guy leak from holes he was not born with. Your job is to install those orifices for him.

I wonder if that's covered under the extended warranty replacement plan.

I'm curious now, it says it stopped a bullet from the abdomen, what was the phone in?

Not a pocket.

Perhaps a purse or fanny pack?

Probably a hooded sweatshirt front "pouch".

Good thing this clerk had the right "app" for that... ;)

http://www.clickorlando.com/news/clerks ... index.html

This article shows (poor) store video stills of the bad guy and the gun.
It also says the robber showed the clerk a revolver.
The still photo does look like a revolver.
The news reporter in the video clip says, the police recovered the "shell" and hope to match it to the gun used :?:
:cogitating: from a revolver?

I'll guess the reporter meant to say "recovered the bullet", unless the robber stopped to eject and reload after firing one shot.

It looks like the phone battery stopped the bullet.

I can't tell what brand of phone that is...if it's a Motorola Razor, they have bodies made of Kevlar, so I could see how that would qualify as body armor.

by the impact mark on the phone it looks like it would be a .22, pretty small cavity on the phone.
