This vid is valuable because you can see at the beginning how quickly the thugs come up behind him.
The interesting part is where he goes from 'Defense' to 'Offense'.
The Thug-with-a-gun is now 'Permanently Horizontal'
It's always funny in these videos to see the Accomplices sprinting away at top speed, with tail between legs.
That must be a vivid moment, when the Accomplice stops running and says to himself 'Boy did we Eff-Up'
Off Duty Cops: Educating the Thugs, one at a time.
This is the raw tape with some blurring...you actually see the perp die in this one. Gunshot to brain...he reaches for his gun while lying on the concrete then collapses.
A group of three robbers, at least one of them armed, attempted to rob a man at a Chicago gas station on Monday night. What they didn’t know is that they were holding up an off-duty sheriff’s sergeant who was carrying a gun of his own.
With a gun pointed at his gut and surrounded by criminals, the sergeant made the decision to fight for his life rather than hope he would not be harmed or, even worse, killed.
He seems to hand something over to the crooks and then proceeded to fumble for money with his left hand while sneakily preparing to draw his firearm with his right.
It happened faster than the 16-year-old gunman could react and the sergeant shot the robber at point-blank range. The armed robber fell to the ground as the other two criminals ran for their lives. The officer first turned to the accomplices to make sure they were no longer a threat and then trained his firearm on the injured suspect and kicked his gun away.
Retrieving his phone from his car, the sergeant dialed 911. The 16-year-old robber, identified as Deonta Dewight Mackey, was shot in the head and pronounced dead on the scene.
That entire dramatic scene was captured on surveillance video at a Citgo station across the street from Gately Stadium in Chicago at around 10 p.m. on Monday.
Final Question....will this Corpse wind up in the Anti's stats as a 'Dead Chile' he's 16 and cause of death was gunshot wound. I'm betting when they run the totals for 'Gun Violence' 2014 in the City of Chicago that this one will be included in the 'Gun Violence' category....they need a new category..."Shot dead while committing a Felony"
