Yes, but we have had plenty of warnings that they are no friend of gun owners. This should not surprise anyone.

About a week ago, as a curiosity I spent 10 mn in the gun dept. of the Woodbury store. Didn't see another soul- customers or employee.
Aa far as I can tell they are just another big box…lot's of clothes. expensive sunglasses, etc.
I have no idea if they serve any of the other sports' customers well.

I stopped in only once since they changed from Galyans to Dicks. Never felt a need to go back. I can get a better selection and prices either at Cabela's or Fleet Farm on anything to do with hunting/fishing/camping.

Only thing I ever bought at Dicks was 4 hockey pucks to keep my safe off the floor :)

The saddest part of the story is that the ammo buyer was still doing business there more than a year after Dick's siding with the gun grabbers

I picked up some semi cheap 9mm ($12.99 a box for Remington UMC) a couple months ago. First time I had been in a Dick's for years. They DID NOT ask to do any background check at the Richfield Dick's. So, I do not know if this is an Indiana thing or what. It is mostly sports bras, trampolines, and assorted other crap, though.

Don't forget our local hall of shamer, the mayor of Garage "Logic",Joe Soucheray, who reasons that the fact of the founders using muskets has some bearing on our rights today. I used to have warm memories of Monday Night Sports Talk. Now they share the space where Sean Penn pollutes my thoughts. No idea what is even on AM1500 anymore.

Last time buying amo at Gander Mountain I felt the questions got too much as well...
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

I realize the Mills family seems to be pro gun, but their checkout process is over the top as well.

Ain't that the truth.

Every time gun control ever came up, joey went to his super magnet theory of sucking up everyone's guns as a way to stem violence.
When I (evermore rarely) listen to his show, I become increasingly suspect that the guy is suffering from some malady. There is not the energy, nor intellect brought to his broadcasts. It's mostly stupid jokes and jock sniffing.

Odd, Gander and Fleet Farm are no problem. I don't even get asked for my birthdate. Walmart OTOH, they have to physically see my ID. I refuse to set foot in Dick's. The times that I did, they never had handgun rounds in stock anyway

Walmart never asks me for id. I've been to Dick's twice in the last year - never made a purchase. Now I'm sure I'll never return.
