The road to "Common Sense" gun control will be paved by mentally ill people who perpetrate these acts. If you are an individual who has received or is receiving some sort of mental illness counseling and/or taking some sort of Psychoactive drugs - hold on, they will be starting with you on the way to the rest of us. You won't find anyone outside the hardcore 2A people who will argue as long as these types of events keep happening. There was an account of a high school student somewhere in MN that shot a principal in the arm - will be interesting to see what he is on and what he is being treated for............My $.02.

But frankly I don't see confiscation working here. Australia rounded up 650k guns in 1996. I think there are more than that in MN alone. I am certainly trying to do my part.

Obammy and his ilk say that they are working for the public good. But why is it that they aren't working on it all the time, instead of waiting until there is a tragedy to capitalize on? Oh, I get it - they aren't getting anywhere with their failed agenda. Fulfilling the definition of insanity: trying the same thing again and again, and expecting different results.

Every TV report I heard started with the local LEO admonishment to NOT use/ publish the madman's name; promptly followed by the talking head saying his name, and interview w/ his family, friends.

The administration wasted no time capitalizing on the tragedy; with obama reading a script, complete with pregnant pauses to display his concerns and outrage.
