Crystal PD 'Safe Exchange' zone

Postby BigBlue on Mon Feb 01, 2016 12:50 pm

So, does anyone want to ask them if they are OK with legal private party firearms sales/exchanges occurring in this sale 'safe exchange' zone?

West St Paul posted their "Safe Swap Zone" early today on FB. I confirmed via message that legal firearm swaps are ok.

It probably would have stopped the shooting in Shakopee. I think that was a Craigslist meet up. Sad that it's come down to having a designated free trade zone just so you can be safe.

Thanks for sharing your information.

Great idea!

Having never used "Craig's List", I think this is great preventive police work.

Do they allow other sorts of safe exchanges in that zone? Are privacy screens available?

The camera doesn't have enough zoom to see something 20mm, you'll be fine. ;)

Yeah, Pat, it's really a shame. The political left will undoubtedly be the cause of more lost lives.

That's a good question with a revealing answer.

Neither of the 2 major cities offer such programs; a curious (non)response to needs of the citizenry, and the 'customer service' attitude of the respective governments.
