You can buy a Savage Model 64 new for under $150.00 - and according to this they are also worth $300.00

There's already a movement afoot to plan the social event of the year outside the buyback.

If you can make it, bring your lawn chair, and a sign indicating what Squib Joe said above....cash is king....lets save some guns!

I have always wondered why the BATF doesn't bust one of these.

It would seem to be conducting a transfer of a firearm without a license, and more so, transferring one without a background check.

They should be required to check and see if these are stolen and return the property to original owners at a minimum.

Funny how metro libs can forget that "all sales must go through a background check" when it supports their purposes.

Gun buy back in Minneapolis

Time to screw some pipes together and write "AR-15-9000 a salt rifle" on it. "Inoperable guns of any kind" makes me think this could be a profitable venture.

They have cops there, and the work-around is that they are being surrendered to the MPD - not "sold"

Oh sweet Jeebus! I've got a pile of stuff to unload. Payday coming! I wonder if there's a limit?

EDIT: doing a quick inventory I my head, I'm going to have a big payday! I've got so many old guns that aren't worth what they are willing to pay!

You sure about that? The Mpls cops currently aren't fans of Betsy Wetsy....and these are being run with the Mpls Fire Dept, not the PD.

Cops are not FFLs. And this is still a transfer of a firearm. I don't believe there is any exception in state law about 'surrendering weapons to police', is there?

Ooh, I like. I expect the ar won"t need sights to qualify. I wonder if it needs the BCG and CH installed? I have a junk barrel and gas block and cheesy stock Colt pistol grip and cheap plastic rail.
