One of the articles I read said that he did shoot it into a book and he showed the woman that in his test the book stopped the bullet. That is how he convinced her to pull the trigger.

A sample size of one lacks statistical validity. A sample size of two is better, but in this case confirmed that the first sample lacked statistical validity.

But then statistics probably don't get you big numbers on youtube....

I can't imagine why so many made a simailar comment. It said it in the linked star tribune article in the first comment. I suppose no one read the article. Lol.

Interestingly, he showed her a book that had been shot, she didn't see how or what happened. A 3AT would have been a more appropriate tool for this "stunt"

That, and I'm guessing that neither genius was well versed in controlling experimental variables.

I do not care if you show me a sample size of 100 AR 500 plates stopping a .22 LR I am not standing behind one while anyone shoots it.

The Pioneer Depressed had the usual comments section in full swing. There was one string of comments where it was abundantly clear that the poster had no idea that a "fifty cal" is more than just the .50BMG.

It's tough talking guns with folks who get their education via Call of Duty.

There are worse references on firearms. Like Dem politicians.
