not saying I buy into the rhetoric, in fact I just finished a book that was eye opening. It is called "The War on Cops" by Heather Mac Donald.

I also spotted a few articles in the Strib and the City Pages decrying the lawlessness that seems to be the norm now in Uptown and Downtown Minneapolis. Funny how the book spells out the consequences of the BLM movement and the reality of what happens when Police are criticized and sued for upholding the law to protect the 94% of the population that wants safe streets and non-violent neighborhoods. When given the option to do their jobs and get killed or sued and looking the other way for self preservation, guess what human nature tells us to do. You couldn't pay me enough to be a police officer.

I highly recommend the book - lots of stats and supporting information but its not a long book.
