CONCEALED CARRY RECIPROCITY PASSES: GUN LAWS MAY GET A LOT LOOSER BARELY TWO MONTHS AFTER LAS VEGAS SHOOTING
The House of Representatives just passed a bill that would lower the bar for carrying concealed guns in the U.S., in a 231-98 vote.

H.R. 38, known as the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017, requires states to recognize the concealed gun carry permits of visitors from other states. A resident of Kansas, for example, which lets people carry concealed guns without any permits, could travel with a gun to New York City, where gun laws are much stricter, if this bill passes the Senate and is signed into law.

If it's still complete with the Fix Nics portion, I wouldn't write it completely off jest yet.

See an editorial, today, about how these were two perfectly reasonable bills they deserved to pass or fall on their own.

Translation - they're really worried they might pass, together.

Fix Nics?

Is this something to worry about?

GOA seems to think so, NRA not so much.

I've seen a lot of alarm from groups known to raise a lot of alarm for fundraising purposes. I've read the bill end to end and don't believe there's anything in there to be worried about.

Some of what I read, around the barnyard, indicate that things could actually get worse in certain areas of the country.
