The news keeps trickling out.

Maybe the deputies were more afraid of political repercussions than the gunfire.

Report: Deputies Were TOLD Not To Go Into High School
Fox News’ Laura Ingraham reported Monday that Broward County deputies were told not to go into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School during the mass shooting earlier this month.

The alleged reason? They didn’t have any body cameras with them.

“Now, our sources near the Broward County sheriff’s department are telling us that the deputies who arrived at the scene of the shooting were told not to enter the school unless their body cameras were turned on, and then we found out that the deputies did not have body cameras so they did not enter the building or engage the shooter,” Ingraham said.

“Curiously, police also lost radio communications during the parkland shooting. And our source claims that radio communication also went dead during the Fort Lauderdale airport shooting in 2017 that he also got a lot of criticism for.” (RELATED: Broward County Deputy Scot Peterson: I Am Not A ‘Coward’)

Ingraham did not say who issued the order to not go into the school.

Something tells me you haven’t seen the Wings Financial World of Birds show at the zoo. When they bring out that eagle I think of how bad that thing could f you up.

I’ll believe his bravery just as soon as he goes back in time and unwinds those bone spur deferments from Vietnam and gets dropped into a hot LZ or sits in a POW camp for five years. Then he can brag about his bravery.

I wonder what the criticism of politicians will be when the Vietnam War Era is out of the time line. There is no requirement of a president to have served in the military. What might be a better test is history of supporting military personnel and pro American policy.

I'm glad I was a boy scout as I'm sure it qualifies me ,uncategorically, for some job out there.

As for courage, what takes more courage than to wake up every day and suffer the withering personal attacks from all sides. Zero respect for the accomplishments and constant criticism. A lesser person would tell them all to pound sand and go back to running a successful business.

My parents were in attendance when he said that, they completely agreed with what he said that day and disagreed with the media spin on out of context excerpts of what he said. Saying that someone doesn't automatically get war hero status because they were a prisoner is not being critical of the military.

I have a couple friends one Navy and one Marine that don't think you or I or even they should be able to own an "assault weapon" so just being in the military is not a good qualifier of sound judgement and reasoning.
