Interesting read. I actually agree with the judge and think that he was required to sentence based on the law and the facts of the case before him. He sentenced under Michigan law and what was correct for the case before him.

Sure did. Still think it’s BS they basically walked. Judges get to much leaway on sentencing. There should be a 3 judge panel reviewing sentencing to insure judges are to lenient due to their personal beliefs!
