I don't have any Yeti products, but I did buy a couple of RTIC coolers. One large and one 8 can softside. They cost less than 1/2 of the Yeti price. I'm totally happy with both coolers. The large one keeps ice, and the items inside, cold for days. We also have several RTIC Tumblers and they keep your drink cold for many hours.

I won't pay Yeti's prices, when I can get an equal product for <50%

I remember Apple and Microsoft went anti gun years ago. They donated a lot of money to Obama's rifle sales.
I dont see people smashing apple or microsoft products.
I have the little 20oz yeti thing for 40$ I'm not impressed at all with it my thermos brand is way better and is a lot cheaper.

Is there a pro gun alternative for Apple or Microsoft?

Yeti is alienating some of their market. Does Pelican like guns? ;)

There are other operating systems, if they are or not anti or pro gun is hard to say.

Iv always though yeti was way overpriced. You can buy a decent fridge for what some of the stupid coolers cost.

Fridges need electricity or propane. Can't always access those.

Or for a little more than a yeti you can buy a 12V ARB or Dometic refrigerator or even a refrigerator freezer.

But, when you are offshore fishing you don’t want to be standing on an ARB or Dometic like you can a yeti or pretty much any other rotomolded cooler.

There are placed getting a generator to is tough. Fly-in, canoe in, places you can't drive to.

According to: http://thecoolerbox.com/coolers-better-than-yeti/

Pelican smokes Yeti:
  • Holds ice longer than Yeti
  • $200 Cheaper
  • Made in the USA
  • Better handles
  • Hose connection for drain
  • Better latches
  • Lifetime Warranty
  • Built in bottle opener

Amazon reviews do complain about the Pelican having a really crappy drain design that often leaks.

Luckily for me, I'm not an outdoorsman - I'll just stick with my 40-ish quart $10 garage-sale Igloo and equally sized $5 (broken) thermoelectric cooler... Speaking of, with summer coming I should probably dig that out and measure the Peltier chip to order a replacement chip and 12v cord (someone found a 120v AC cord that fit and smoked it).
Science: noun, Whatever answer will help to advance communism.

Now that's what really matters

Bottles add too much weight and do not pack as compact, cans are where it is at! ;)

The solution to those is drink your beer like a man and it never has time to get warm.
