The man, police said, "was apparently shot-to-death by an armed citizen" outside the restaurant and there was "no indication of terrorism."

Thank God for the Second Amendment. Allowing good guys with guns to kill bad guys with guns on American soil since the 1770’s.

At least we all know the State would've handled the situation in the same timely and effective manner.

TTousi,

Would this have been a LEGAL shoot by an armed citizen IF it were done in MINNESOTA ?

Why not? Not many details here but one has to assume he feared for his life encountering a man armed who just killed unarmed people.

It didn’t allow it, it reaffirms/protects (in theory) an inalienable right we already had.

Actually, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights weren't ratified until December 15, 1791, so there's no way it could be allowing/protecting our right to self defense prior to that date.

I am not referring to the constitution. That document just reaffirmed my god given rights. I am pretty certain good guys with guns have been killing bad guys with guns on American soil for much longer than the establishment of America as a country.
