Yup, the hardware store in Morris still sells guns. Used to have a good selection of used.and i assume consignment rifles and shotguns.

Mine does as well, but many in the metro no longer do.

Still blaming guns

https://www.wsj.com/articles/dicks-says-under-armour-new-gun-sales-policy-dragged-on-results-1535565173

Comparable-store sales fell 4%, Dick’s said. Not adjusting for the 53rd week last year, the company’s same-store sales declined 1.9%.

The weaker-than-expected results bucked a trend in the retail sector, which largely has benefited from a surge in consumer spending fueled by a booming economy.

Agree, I'd rather go back to that too

Still can if you live outstate, remember when Holiday Gas Stations had guns and ammo in the stores!

Yep, back in high school - late 60s - we bought shells and clay pigeons, and a thrower at the Holiday on the E side St Paul; drove out to a cornfield in Woodbury, where The CrackerBarrel now sits and spent the afternoon watching the birds break as they hit the ground...

One could outfit themselves for a hunting, or fishing outing at Holiday.

The corner hardware store sold pistols, at least 'old' 1911s.

With such access to guns, especially military style pistols there must must have been thousands of school shootings!

Does the after school gun safety class conducted by the drafting teacher count as a gun-in-a-school incident?

I don't recall the (yet to be invented) SWAT team ever showing up.

Solar activity increases for decades; resulting in global temperature increases for decades; resulting in ocean temperatures increasing over decades; resulting in the release of oceanic CO2 over decades... Global temperatures increase and atmospheric Co2 increase = Man-made global warming.

Solar activity decreases over a few years, global temperatures decrease for a few years, atmospheric C02 remains steady... man caused global warming = man caused "not global-warming" (AKA "climate change")
