The only one professional enough thread

Postby Ghost on Mon Jun 04, 2018 6:43 am

In this thread we shall document professionals negligently discharging.

I'll go first:

https://thegrio.com/2018/06/04/video-of-fbi-agent-losing-gun-as-he-back-flips-on-dance-floor-and-shoots-man-goes-viral

A pop-locking FBI agent is under fire after his gun fell from his holster and shot a clubgoer in Denver.

A video surfaced of the unnamed off-duty FBI agent dancing and doing a black flip at a bar in Denver at about 12:45 a.m., reports the New York Daily News.

The agent started busting a move on the dance floor and with all eyes on him, he started feeling himself; popping and locking at one point, doing a little stanky leg and then he broke into a backflip. That’s when the gun flipped out. The agent tried to grab it but it hit the ground and a shot was fired.

The agent’s dance break almost turned deadly. A crowd-goer was struck and hit in the lower leg by the bullet.

A shot was fired?

He pulled the damned trigger.

Negligence, not accident.

Hard to tell watching the vid on my phone. Was it in a holster or just tucked into his waist band?

Saw the video last night on the news. Gun hits the floor and agent discharges weapon when he reaches down to retrieve it. He should lose his job. No excuse for it. I'm sure the Academy covered how you should handle a heated dance off while armed. Talk about taking the right to bear arms lightly.......but he's so cool though........

I think when the real story is told we'll find out he was doing double-secret undercover, and took the opportunity to take out some dangerous perp.
it was the only way he could get close without drawing suspicion to himself.
All in all quite a feat, in that he was able to only wound the bad guy in the leg so they couldn't get away.

Pure skilz, that was.

Quite the backflip at least.

Thankfully no one was killed.

That is one flashy way to end a career and probably any future in law enforcement.

Oldie but the timing with his speech is so "perfect" you wouldn't believe it if it was scripted. I've never added a YouTube link so I'm expecting the worst.

What I can't find is the long version of the video that shows the bike cross an intersection at least 1/4 mile in front of the cop... I estimate the bike is going 60 in a 45 headed north, the cop is going 30 in a 30 headed west... Since the cop is going 30 up a steep hill perpendicular to the direction the bike is going, it takes the cop maybe 2 minutes to catch up to the bike and the cop may have hit speeds near 80 MPH...

The biker was convicted of "fleeing" and the cop saw no punishment. If ANY of us board members did the exact same thing (without having a badge) it would be a MINIMUM 15 years in the clink.

That groin one was tough to watch knowing its coming. I'm impressed how quick she was to grab rubber gloves and help. The dog....not as helpful.
