The city will pay.

It's just a question of how much.

And I don't blame the family for cashing in, not one bit.

Ex-Minneapolis police officer Mohamed Noor sentenced to 12½ years in prison
“He does not take personal responsibility for making an erroneous decision to fire a gun at her,” said Hennepin County District Judge Kathryn Quaintance. “He and his partner continue to maintain that her presence near the vehicle justified their extreme response.”

The bill should be handed to the taxpayers of Minneapolis. They're the ones who elected the incompetent dimwits who instituted the policies.

Guess they need to do a better job getting the vote out for their candidates or move to a suburb that could use their help.

I doubt that will help, not sure how many are left.

What the city needs is a flood of conservative illegal immigrants. :P

So $20 Million. $6M for the attorneys so at least they will not starve. and...... wait for it …….$2 Million to fight gun violence!

So the tax payers get to pay to get their guns taken away because the person who used a gun was of the privileged few who should be able to have a gun. What is the logic here? If we take guns away from law abiding Minnesotan's then poorly trained cops will feel less threatened on the streets?

Sadly, it's for lining the pockets of their political allies.
