Ronald A. Stolarczyk was charged with felony possession of an illegal handgun, New York State Police said in a news release.

I feel some sympathy for gun owners that live outside of NYC. They are at the mercy of the big city liberals, but we should not be too smug. Minnesota is dangerously close to be "ruled" by the liberal core of Hennepin and Ramsey Counties.

Interesting that they refer to "burglary". I thought, generally, if there were people in the house it became "robbery".

I think we are teetering on the edge. Outstate can still put together the votes needed to hold the line on some issues, but we were one Senate seat away from the gun control measures passing on the first try. The next census/redistricting could make D majorities in both houses a foregone conclusion as it is in California.

If they think they "need" that kind of law at least don't make it a felony just to own it. Appears it is totally the gun not the fact that he stopped a robbery.
