The sheriff was interviewed, the guy bought legally, the suppressor was not a big deal, did not call for more gun control.

Have the 2 handguns used, the "high capacity" magazines used or the suppressor used been specifically identified anywhere?

Heard that they were .45’s, nothing beyond that.

Doesn't seem to be out there. Perhaps the guns were a 108 (2019 minus 1911) year old design? Of course, additional suppressor Federal Tax Stamp details are being "suppressed" by media as well.

Regarding MGR. I'll sum it up here:
1) Make videos from Northfield MN. Call people names like "Lazy Rob", "Mr. Rogers", "weak", "no compromise", "boom!"
2) Prise money from peoples' wallets, but not file the proper lobbying and tax forms.
3) The MOST TELLING THING is, while Rob D (MNGOC) is fulltime/overtime at the capital lobbying and stopping the bills, MGR's Ben D saunters a half mile the morning of the MN end-of-session to take credit for the victory. (to the Northfield Area Veterans Memorial)

https://www.facebook.com/MinnesotaGunRights/videos/444243866336010/ (boom!, give me money)

While Rob D (MNGOC) does this (all nighter session end)

and works with top leaders to ensure no new gun control in MN

An interesting development is that in spite of the close proximity of the Police Station, the police were delayed for more than a few minutes by the building's card key security system, which the police couldn't/ wouldn't breech.

https://www.chicagotribune.com/nation-world/ct-virginia-beach-shooting-20190605-story.html

Police responding to the deadly mass shooting at a Virginia Beach municipal building were unable to confront the gunman at one point because they didn't have the key cards needed to open doors on the second floor.

Over the radio, they desperately pleaded for the electronic cards and talked of bringing in a sledgehammer, an explosive charge or other means of breaking down the doors.

The killer was eventually gunned down, and whether the delay contributed to the toll of 12 victims dead and four wounded is unclear....

...At about the same time officers were evacuating terrified employees from the third floor, other officers were on the second floor, frantically trying to get to the gunman after he fired at them through doors and walls. On police scanners, officers could be heard becoming exasperated as they tried unsuccessfully to get into locked areas....

...We need access keys. The doors are locked, we need access keys. I know I've got citizens in one area of the second floor I can't evacuate," said one officer....

John Lott: After Virginia Beach shooting, Dems seek ban on ‘silencers’ that don’t make guns silent
John R. Lott at Fox News wrote:Despite what you might believe from watching television shows or movies, suppressors (commonly known as “silencers”) do not make guns “silent” — unless you consider an ambulance siren or a jackhammer to be silent.

However, as soon as it was clear that the Virginia Beach killer used a noise suppressor on one of his guns last Friday when he killed 12 people, Democrats called for suppressors to be banned. Virginia’s Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam called for a special legislative session to pass a ban.

"Witnesses might not hear. Police will be less likely to track down the shooter," said Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., in calling for such a ban. She is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination and advocating stricter gun control measures.

Always find John Lott interesting.

This incident seems to have splashed and left the media quickly. Must be something that doesn't fit the narrative.
