And what, then, would the parents do to the school board, next election?

The parents would do nothing, they could not get rid of Robert Runcie from Parkland Florida.

The Minnesota High School Trap Shooter is one of the most positive things regarding firearms that I've seen in years.
It really gives me some hope.

Looks like the student in Colorado got reinstated and got an apology too.

I think it's telling that the Colorado sheriff said the "Safe2Tell" anonymous complaint line is also referred to as the "Safe2Swat" line. (Gosh, who'd of thought people would take advantage of an anonymous tip line to make trouble for folk they didn't like? Thank goodness that could never happen with Red Flag Gun Confiscation laws!!! (Yeah, I'm being sarcastic here---and to be fair, the way the Minnesota law is being proposed it wouldn't be anonymous and it wouldn't be just anybody that could make the complaint but I STILL think it would be just plain dumb to take somebody's guns away because you think they're "a danger to themselves and/or others" and leave them loose with EVERY OTHER MEANS OF MAYHEM at their disposal. Really, that's just DUMB.))

The story of the student's reinstatement and apology is here:

They seem well along this path.

Glad he was reinstated for the original issue. But he should be re-suspended permanently for using slang “Finna be lit". There is just no acceptable reason for butchering the English language like that...

Maybe he should have to write 100 times on the blackboard, "I will not substitute “Finna be lit" for "It's going to be fun." ".

Who knows, if he had spoken in normal English he might not have had this problem.

Maybe they would be like the UK's Olympic shooting team, which at one point could not legally practice in their own country (that's since been changed).

That would be a very sad day.
