It can't be. Our illustrious governor says it's the guns.
Governor goofy part 2 should worry more about getting his MNLARS and DHS fiascos fixed before he blames guns for his gang issues.

Thank you Ed, that puts some of it into context. So we still do not know who was shooting.
I haven't read any details identifying the shooters, but my guess is that it was a couple of 50 year old guys from Todd County arguing John Deere vs Case/IH superiority.
WOUNDED MAN WAS ALSO SHOT EARLIER IN SUMMER
Police have not announced arrests in the shootings and are asking anyone with information or videos from the scene to come forward.
Two 20-year-old men and an 18-year-old were shot and wounded, and treated for non-life threatening injuries. One of them, Roman Gabriel Prescott, was shot earlier this summer and was charged in connection with that case Wednesday.Prescott, who was shot in the hand on Monday, was shot in the torso at the BP station at Como Avenue and Dale Street on June 17. He told police he was walking through the parking lot “minding his own business when he was shot for no reason,” according to the criminal complaint.
Police found a .380-caliber handgun in bushes north of where Prescott was sitting and eight spent .380 casings in the parking lot area. Officers also found three spent 9-mm casings.
Surveillance video showed Prescott retrieve something from his waistband and point it at a vehicle at the gas pumps and then at the fleeing vehicle, the complaint said.
When Prescott was later arrested in a different incident involving shots being fired, police told him the gas station shooting was caught on video and asked if the recovered gun was his. He said he had it for protection, the complaint continued.
Prescott has a prior assault case that prevents him from having firearms, and the Ramsey County attorney’s office charged him Wednesday with possession of a firearm by an ineligible person.

Haven't been any arrests, but here's a brief bio on one of the guys who got shot. I'll refrain from calling him a victim:WOUNDED MAN WAS ALSO SHOT EARLIER IN SUMMER

But, but, but... I thought laws would prevent those things from happening!!?? So you're saying that bad people will still be bad even if there is a law against it?One wonders why the country atty waited almost 2 mos before charging him with a previous gun crime.
Yeah, it's almost like they were going to let him skate on that until they realized someone would find out.
All sides agreed in a Ramsey County courtroom on Wednesday that what happened early on a January morning might have ended in death. But representatives of the police union said they disagree with felony charges against Ibrahim being dropped.
The Ramsey County attorney’s office initially charged Ibrahim with two felonies and later added a gross misdemeanor charge. Ibrahim’s attorney said a compromise was reached and Ibrahim pleaded guilty to recklessly handling a dangerous weapon, a gross misdemeanor.
