A lakes area man shot himself in the leg while trying on a new holster, the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Booger hook in the trigger guard while holster it will cause a bang. A person may buy a fits all nylon holster and that in it self can/ has gotten caught in trigger guards and resulted in a ND. Always test a new holster with a unloaded firearm just to be safe Incase parts get inside the trigger guard. If you have to force the firearm in it should be a very big red flag.

I guess the best thing that happened was he only shot himself and not anyone else.
