Ghost Gunner 3 allows you to manufacture firearms with confidence and ease, in the privacy of your own home. GG3 removes material 5 times faster than GG2 and the new unibody construction provides greater rigidity, drastically improving finished part quality.

The custom spindle is powered by a specially designed closed-loop digital VFD, which sets a new standard in desktop CNC machining. GG3 ships with code to complete 80% AR-15, AR-308, M1911, and Polymer 80 frames frames. All existing jigs are compatible with GG3.

That’d be fun to play with but I can’t justify enough builds for one.

True enough.
But I could see buying one, finishing half-a-dozen lowers, then selling it.
I figured six finished lowers would suffice for all the builds I might do for a good many years.

It’s great for those people that want number free lowers though.

And maybe for those that don’t already have truckloads of AR’s.

$2100 for a CNC mill with software? I'm not in the machining business, but that seems dangerously cheap.

Gotta be a catch somewhere. Yes, it's small, which may be some of the price issue, I'd be a bit concerned about its tolerances as well.

The other part that it's an advance deposit makes me question risk of nondelivery.

If someone had the bucks, got several orders placed with them, would make there money back quick. Could use a few myself.

According to current ATF regs, lending your tools to someone else for them to make a firearm, or for you to use them to make firearms for someone else, is verboten.

Buying one, making your own firearms with it, then selling it to someone else, shouldn't be a problem.

Does anyone really believe that if they build from an 80% lower that they are off the atf radar when the confiscation orders come down?

So hypothetically; if my buddy asks to borrow my drill-press and he finishes an 80% lower with it, I'm on the hook for manufacturing without a license? What if I loan my buddy some wrenches so he can tighten his jig or clamp it to the table on his mill?

I don't have the money to win that fight, but I sure would try if they tried to charge me with anything.

I'd expect that so would fall under the ATF's ban.

Now I think the ATF's position is incoherent, and is not be at all surprised to see it tossed in a future court case, but I don't want to be the one paying the lawyers.
