Steve Daines' pro-Second Amendment bill aims to protect law-abiding gun owners taking firearms across state lines
Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., introduced a pro-Second Amendment bill to the Senate last month aimed at easing restrictions on gun owners transporting their firearms across state lines.

The bill would reform the Firearm Owners Protection Act (FOPA), clarifying the term “transport” to include “staying in temporary lodging overnight, stopping for food, fuel, vehicle maintenance, an emergency, medical treatment, and any other activity incidental.”

It doesn't say that the bill covers travel other than driving, but I certainly hope that it does.

And I hope it contains some teeth to use against the NY Port Authority Police.

Now we just need to get the term "shall not be infringed" clarified to mean shall not be infringed.

I think "infringed" is too big a word for many politicians.

They might not be able to spell it but they sure know how to do it.

Without infringement, what's the point of having subjects?
Might as well tend a herd of cats.

Cats don’t listen as good as people do.

This. Quite effective concealed carry.
