This story seems to be fading away fairly quickly.

Must not be anything there to promote the left's agenda.

I've read that a suppressor was involved, any one else see that?

I saw that in one article also. My guess is that's wildassed speculation. If it was true, the anti's would be howling about it.

When the story first broke, it was reported that the shooter was an employee who had been fired earlier in the day, and returned with a silenced gun.

The latest stories make no mention of the gun, and state the motive is unknown at this time....

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The shooter was armed with two handguns, one with a silencer, according to a police source. Silencers or suppressors are legal in 42 states, including Wisconsin. They must be registered with the federal government under the National Firearms Act. According to the latest report from the ATF, more than 29,333 are registered in the state.

I guess we'll need to wait a few days for the facts to trickle out.

The story is no longer on Drudge.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

So it didn't happen? Should we assume that the system/laws set up to keep maniacs like this from owning/buying a gun failed and that isn't helpful to the anti-gun/more regulation crowd, so it will get buried? Why do some of these stories get elevated as examples and others die a quick death? Somewhat rhetorical, but who decides?

Outrage sells news. If a story doesn't generate it, the tabloid media moves on.

Here's the story I just read on Fox. I see a couple of possibilities listed in the story that might explain why it seems to be disappearing.

Drive by media, if it doesn’t draw a crowd they won’t come back and shoot it up again

Now the msm is finding their toe hold:
The AP headline:
Neighbors: Brewery shooter built guns from mail-order parts

About half way through a dozen paragraphs, there is this one relevant sentence:

"Erna Roenspies, who lived next door to Ferrill, described him as a nice guy and helpful neighbor who enjoyed building guns with mail-order parts."
