Retired St Louis police captain, 77, is shot dead 'protecting his friend's pawn shop from looters in killing that was live streamed on Facebook'
A retired St Louis police captain was shot dead Tuesday by looters who had broken into his friend's pawn shop.

David Dorn, 77, was found dead on the sidewalk in front of Lee's Pawn & Jewelry in the early hours following unrest that followed a peaceful protest over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

The shooting and theft at the pawn shop apparently was posted on Facebook Live, but the video has since been taken down.

Friggin sad. Don’t see that on the local news. Guess since he was a cop in not news worthy.

One trumps the other in their way of thinking unfortunately. Truth is not something they really care about. Remember, they are being manipulated behind the scenes by those who hate our country, our way of life and freedom. They do not realize that if they were to succeed they would be reinstituting and stregthening the very things they are claiming to be protesting against.

Good. Will our social justice crowd hold a march for justice for him? Or does his life not matter because he was a cop?

cop lives don't matter. The mob would have loved nothing more than a public execution of the 4 officers who were on scene that day.
