7 Ways Biden Could Go It Alone on Gun Violence Prevention
Although the president doesn’t have the power to change existing laws or enact new ones on his own, he has the authority to direct agencies, set priorities, appoint leadership, and more. And Biden’s campaign signaled his willingness to act even if his proposals stall in the Senate. “Joe Biden also knows how to make progress on reducing gun violence using executive action,” his website reads.

Maybe if they focused on 'violence prevention' instead of adding that first word they might actually make strides...

So the Democrats might have a bare one or two vote majority in the Senate, maybe not. And millions of voters indicated their loathing for the Democratic agenda by voting for Trump. And traditionally the two-year following Representative elections are hard on the incumbents, currently majority Democrats. And they're still going to push gun control, the least useful most alienating plank of their platform? No wonder conservatives are convinced Democrats are radical ideologues.

If they focused on violence prevention, they'd be locking up their constituency.
I will never apologize for being an American.
