Tell me again about public opinion being against the 2nd Amendment? I hope these same people see the attacks on the 2nd Amendment for what it is.......

I wonder how many checks there'd be if the supply of firearms and ammo were able to keep up with the demand.

The law of unintended consequences. Proclaim that you are going to take something away and you raise awareness and demand. Sales skyrocket. Also provides proof that people want guns not gun bans.

I have enough ammo, if you can have enough? I'm trying to buy a new compact Glock to be my carry pistol.
