The "truth" about the Yes 4 Minneapolis proposal

This fall there will be a public safety charter amendment on the ballot for voters to consider. I support this amendment and encourage voters to support it as well. It's clear to me that the status quo configuration is not working well enough, despite record investments and many reform efforts.

I'm still at a loss as to what the council actually intends.

The proposal just gives them the authority to do whatever they feel like.

To convert the world into a socialist super state.

Pretty clear of their intention.

The short answer for any resident concerned about their safety and welfare is to vote NO on the yes4 mpls initiative.
The group is funded largely by out of state money.
Of the nearly $1million they've received, approximately 1/2 came from George Soros, and close to $100k from the ACLU.
It is essentially a de-fund police and spend the public safety money on people with connections to the city council.

It might increase flight from mpls and open the eyes of those that stay.

I expect it will pass and pass easily. :|

This, business owners only get to vote with their feet. Gang members get to vote and hold offices.
