Funniest looking squirrels I've ever seen. What, did they boil the fur off of them or something?
And now I know that squirrels are basically just rats with a furry tail that can climb trees. Huh.
Also, I wonder if the "non-residents" comment means out of state folks or illegal aliens?

They charred the fur off the meat/carcass.
It’s a common way of dealing with small animals in bush meat markets in Africa and the Far East (like the ones that are “officially” being given credit for Covid in China.
