Are they selling books or are they serious?

Will a stolen election in the upcoming year spark an actual revolution?

We are closer than we have ever been.....IMO

What would be the catalyst?

War gaming unrealistic situations is what a general staff does.

I have no issues with them planning for various contingencies.

On the other hand, actual field exercises cost money and can get troops hurt. Those should stick with likely threats that the military can face.

Heck, if we had better plans for the assault in the sandbox, maybe it wouldn’t have been such a cluster- what do you do with the POW’s? What are your occupation plans (letting each household keep a couple pistols and an AK? Sounds silly to me…)

I think that if push came to shove, the Washington overlords might be surprised with what the military would do. Knowing that might get a bit of sanity out there…

I assume the first stage of advice would be, proactively weaken the threat by disarming and rounding up dissidents.....ummm that's us.....

What the left doesn’t understand is after us, it’s them.

And the military folks take an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States.

The 2nd amendment reads pretty clearly… apparently only once you get to law school does it all the sudden mean “it’s ok to take their guns.”

I gather from reading the article is that at least part of his concern is that the military itself might split on party lines, with fractured or disputed chains of command. That would be really, really bad; as in "end of the Roman Republic and the rise of the triumvirates" bad.

And lest we forget that many of our current military members may come from families that respect the constitution and what it stands for. It’s not as much like the old days when you were giving the chance to join up or go to jail.

They have enough on their plate with China and Soviet Union. Besides, posse comitatus act stops them, technically.

Here is more from the Generals who are afraid of conservative democracy. The vaccine purges are an attempt to weed out the conservative soldiers.
