Hopefully, they passed this video and their names to all of the ranges in town to keep this idiot from ever shooting in a similar setting. I guess he will just have to find some private land to do stupid ****.

This is a case of taking a page from the Cancel Culture to potentially save a life...

I'm thinking about a young woman I take to, once, about her first hunting trip with her dad and older brother.

At the first fence she started to climb while still carrying her rifle.

Her father sent her back to the truck to sit and wait out the day.

The next year she followed the safety protocols she'd learned in hunter safety.

I was guilty of this in my younger days, except my long legs allowed me to step over most fences while holding the fence wire in left hand and firearm in right hand pointing upward.
Other sturdier types of fences required placing firearm against post before climbing over, the reaching back for firearm.

if being chased by the bull, in my younger days i could clear a fence like a high hurdle - gun in hand.

I did not see him cross a fence line in the video.

Isn't it weird how there are essentially no fence lines any longer? The only fences are usually in residential developments or around livestock yards/corrals. Seeing that hunting graphic and the discussion about them just made that thought hit me.
