The San Diego Cnty's Sheriffs Dept attempted to serve an eviction notice to a tenant and it turned violent. The lady lunged and stabbed a Sheriff's Deputy and it went WAY SOUTH FROM THERE! WATCH AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.

In my opinion, the San Diego County Sheriffs Dept did everything correctly to attempt to keep this from escalating to the point of no return.

I actually believe one of the Sheriffs deputies should have carried an aluminum ball bat and swing and remove the knife with her hand... Non Lethal Solution - Nuff Said!

Major cluster**** all around. First, the sheriffs were trying to explain why they were there to someone with poor English language skills. Who answered the door carrying a knife because in some neighborhoods that's a sensible precaution. But the deputy freaks, aims a gun at her and repeatedly threatens to kill her if she doesn't instantly comply. How much of which she understands is anyone's guess, but she knows that an angry yelling man is pointing a gun at her. It all goes down the tubes from there. Basically, the sheriffs displayed the tact and restraint of the ED-209 from Robocop.

I think it is pretty universal in any language what to do with a weapon when a uniformed officer is pointing a gun at you. Hint, it is not to lunge at them.
