Well, this is the first crime related/policing reform that I agree with that has came out of Minneapolis.

To those that feel “sometimes” they might be needed, I kind of doubt that MPLS has much to say about the Hennepin Co sheriff, or the FBI.

Going down the rabbit hole far enough, I can see reasons for them, but those are rare enough and unusual enough that the FBI HRT is adequate for the US.

What ever happened to the old maxim of better 100 guilty men go free than one innocent man be imprisoned?

I don’t disagree that Locke made some poor decisions in who he hung out with… and I don’t feel the cop who shot him deserves prison.

The judge who signed off and the DA/LEO command structure that asked for the no knock, on the other hand…
