I’m glad this doesn’t happen more often but admittedly surprised it doesn’t. How many posts/videos have we all seen about what to do with your firearm when dropping a deuce in public?

Stays in the holster on the belt. If your gun falls out of the holster, you have the wrong holster.

The problem isn't the gun falling off the holster, but the holster falling off the belt.

I remember a discussion with a guy here who worked at a local range/gun shop who stated it happens quite regularly.

I was trained to place it in an area in such a situation that if you forgot you would quickly remember when you pulled up your pants.

I've always wondered. If it was you who left their carry piece in a public restroom, and you were fairly confidant it couldn't be traced back to you, would you admit to it? This guy is facing a posable year in prison, and $3,000 fine over a $800 handgun which he probably won't get back anyway.

If he gets a year in prison when they can't/won't actually convict folks who commit real crimes like straw purchases, rioting/looting, or carjackings then our society is beyond salvaging.

He was a legal gun owner, like those all the new laws are for, not one of those that get out for free after being arrested.

After the prosecution (persecution) of Kyle Rittenhouse, despite all the video evidence supporting self defense, do you have any doubt this guy will be prosecuted?
