TPT Almanac 6/17/22 Police Accountability & Mass Shooting

TPT Almanac show 6/17/2022 had segments on 'Police Accountability' and on 'Mass Shootings'.

https://www.tpt.org/almanac/video/new-r ... ity-39508/

In the 'Police Accountabilitly' segment they had as guests they had:

Dr. Niaz Kasravi is a national expert and advocate in criminal justice, social justice, and racial justice. She is Founder and Director of Avalan Institute for Applied Research. She is also the former Director of the Criminal Justice Program at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
and
The Mayor of Brooklyn Center (where the Daunte Wright shooting occurred) Mike Elliot.

In the segment on 'Mass Shootings' they had James Densley from the Violence Project who discussed the mindset of mass shooters and gun control.

I was surprised and pleased to see the Almanac staff also included Todd Axtell, former St. Paul police chief, Medaria Arradondo, former chief of police in Minneapolis and Bob Kroll former head of the Minneapolis police union. For the 'Mass Shooting' segment they had Rob Doar on to provide some balance.

OH WAIT!!!

Todd Axtell, Medaria Arradondo, Bob Kroll and Rob Doar were just products of my wishful imagination, they were NOT on the show.

But TPT assures me all their shows are totally fair and balanced with no bias in what they present to the public.

P.S.
I realize TPT Almanac actually HAS had Rob Doar on the show before and if I remember correctly they were polite to him but, to me, their bias against him and his views, given the questions they asked him and the amount of time they gave him to respond was quite evident.

Almanac, in its early days was a great weekly news program, that could stand on its own legs.
It devolved as the original hosts died, or moved on.
Now, it can't exist without all the subsidies public broadcasting receives

I still watch Almanac and like it and it really does help keep my blood pressure high enough to push some of those red blood cells through my cholestoral clogged arteries so there is that.

Just to libel public radio/public television I believe they would have no problem having a fair and honest and open debate about gun control between someone who believes that only the military and law enforcement should have firearms and another person who believe not even the military or law enforcement should have guns.

I admit it's not THAT bad yet but it's just my opinion that is isn't too far off.
