Another win.

Huge win for gun owners as federal judge vacates ATF rule on unfinished frames and receivers
By Cam Edwards | 8:30 AM on July 01, 2023

Joe Biden’s anti-gun agenda has taken another body blow, with a U.S. District Judge in Texas putting a halt to the ATF’s rule treating unfinished frames and receivers as if they’re firearms themselves.

In a Friday decision, Judge Reed O’Connor smacked down the rule, finding that the ATF overstepped its authority to promulgate regulations and instead crossed the line into making new law. The Firearms Policy Coalition, which sued the agency along with the Second Amendment Foundation and several individual plaintiffs, celebrated with a late night email to members and supporters.

Because the Final Rule purports to regulate both firearm components that are not yet a “frame or receiver” and aggregations of weapon parts not otherwise subject to its statutory authority, the Court holds that the ATF has acted in excess of its statutory jurisdiction by promulgating it

I think the courts are all that is standing in the way of open confiscation.

I hope that is not all that stands in the way or we are truly lost.

The ATF appealed the vacate ruling to the 5th Circuit court of appeals and were shot down. Now they have taken it to the Supreme Court. Here Mark Smith talks about the appeal. RT 19:56
