The Michigan Supreme Court made history Friday in letting the unprecedented charges stick against James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of the Oxford school shooter who must now stand trial for their alleged roles in the deaths of four students murdered by their son in 2021.

The Crumbleys are the first parents in America charged in a mass school shooting as prosecutors seek to hold them criminally liable for buying their son the gun that he used in the massacre, and, for never telling the school about the weapon when they were summoned over his troubling behavior.

Come on guys you know that addressing car jacking doesn’t further the agenda. Plus car jackers don’t often vote so we can fill in the ballots for them.

Kind of depends on the exact circumstances.

If the parents placed reasonable limits on the kid, and exercised reasonable due diligence then I doubt the case will go far. It sounds like this was an attempt to throw it out based on they didn’t commit the crime.

This is the trouble with modern reporting.

The court allowed the trial to go forward, but no real statements about the arguments.

That being said, the prosecution admits this is a difficult case and yet the parents are still in jail awaiting trial? In a state where they are pushing no cash bail?

Lots of questions the article leaves unaddressed.
