Protect Minnesota 2024 Legislative Goals

They really take some flights of fancy with the language.

One wonders if markie has a hand in this flapdoodle.

Issue 4
Banning Guns in Spaces Central to Democracy


The mere presence of guns at or around spaces central to democracy like polling places can intimidate voters’ and citizens’ government engagement....firearms carried by private citizens at protests have led to deadly outcomes in Kenosha..(*)..... Armed voter intimidation is at an all time high and represents a threat to our democracy.


(*) A law abiding person defended himself from multiple assailants during a riot....

"....our (their) democracy..." sounds much more like mob rule, than the republic the Founding Fathers created.

We were established as a Constitutional Republic....unfortunately through moral decay, apathy, and political corruption, we have become a democracy/oligarchy hybrid IMO.
