Welcome to the madness.... I too did my time in the military and have 2 sons in the Army (both currently deployed in the sand box) and one son in the Marines. You will find lots of info and even some good people here. :)

That is an absolutely gorgeous gun. Did you built it yourself? .38 super or Dillon?

Reminds me of my first self-build .38 Super "race-gun" that I assembled around what was then called a Chip McCormick wide-body frame (TRI), which became later known as the STI. Chip gave me the frame 18 years ago, and I still have the warhorse running. Those were the days.
