Hiya. Another New Guy Here.

I just stumbled across this forum as a "related forums" link while I was tracking a couple stories online and following the links trying verify sources.
I'm an Army Brat (still, at 44 ) and have become more engaged in local politics and happenings the last 4-5 years, and am an NRA Endowment Member.

Not sure how much I'll have to contribute, or be willing to share yet

I'm a moderator on another forum and it keeps me pretty busy (along with full-time and part-time jobs) but I'll make time to search back a ways here and get aquainted.

Wow. Y'all have a good thing going here. I'll appologize in advance, since I've spent about 1/2 my years in the South and the other 1/2 up here I may occasionally use "Y'all" and "Uffda" in the same sentence. If you're not prepared for it, it can cause a synaptic backfire.

I've been kicking around in the archives and there's a great wealth of information and experience here. I hope to be able to contribute, I know I'll learn a few things.

Those that are new to shooting are given encouragement and respect.....very nice. Unfortunately that's not the case at all forums.

I spent near an hour in the Lever Guns threads.....dang people keep bringing me work while I'm trying to read.
