Hi all,

New guy here. I'm about to graduate high school here in San Diego, and after a year of community college, St Paul is on my list of possibilities for college (grandfather attended University of St Thomas before WWII, and I've got plenty of family in the area). Just here to get some first-hand info to familiarize myself with MN state gun laws.

Welcome to the madness. We have some good schools here but they are expensive in my opinion. But they all are these days

I want out. I love the weather, and I love the hills, but it's almost as if the state gov is strangling gun owners... If I do decide to go to MN for college, however, I'm not staying after I finish my degree. Waaaay too cold. I'm most likely headed down to Texas.

yeah ever since i was stationed in camp pendleton i was really spoiled, thats where my thought came from

Totally understandable... I'm in an extremely nice area right now, but like I said, I'm just lookin' for a change. St Paul has a school I want, family, it's a nice area.... Only drawback for me is the cold, but like I said, I won't be there forever. No worries at all.
