Thank you all for the welcome! I just got my carry permit in that mail yesterday!! **YAY** I have done some gun shopping and really like the Ruger LCR special...any other suggestions for a small, easy to pull trigger gun? I am not the strongest girl...very weak fingers!

I'm going to drop the Women on target suggetion again. There's thousands of fine guns to choose from out there, and you might as well go try some before buying them.

+1 for the WOT. That and shoot as often as you can. Gun handling skills are a repetitive motion muscle memory skill. The more you shoot, the stronger your hands will become, and the less you will notice trigger pull affecting your accuracy. Don't expect to be a great shooter if you only shoot 50rds a year. Shoot 50-100 a week thru any gun and you will be beter off.

Welcome from Savage!
You probably saved yourself a lot of problems around here when you mentioned your fiance. Good move.
The LCR has one of the smoothest 'out of the box' triggers. Better than the J frames IMO.
