New here from Burnsville

Thanks for all the great reading here. I am new to things and have alot to learn. I did just receive my ptp but then found out I also have to go thru the NICS check. Is that just a formality at this point? Opps, kinda off topic.... Anyway hello from Burnsville......

Welcome to the forum.

If you have a question about how to purchase, I would stop out at a gun shop like Bills or Gun Stop and ask them. They know what is required and will work with you on the process. Good Luck.

or

http://www.gunstop.com/

or most any other local dealer for that matter.

What range/s do you plan to do some shooting at?

Welcome to the forum. In MN a NICS check (4473 form) is required whenever a firearm is purchased from a dealer.

It does not appily to private party transactions.

Delays are common, have no fear. They have 3 additional days to approve or deny you or the gun is yours.

Ya gotta love a city called Savage. So many jokes and comments. I went to a Savage Barber, I got pulled over by a Savage LEO. Sorry, I know it is sophomoric, I could not help myself. We are actually on the Savage/Burnsville border so I might possibly be a semi Savage Gun Owner.....

No. I am pissed I missed the Mosin Nagants Fleet Farm had for $79.99. Fireballs are cool. And a bayonet too......

My sister and her old boyfriend, when they were visiting from San Diego, made a special trip to get Savage Harley Davidson T-Shirts.
