Hello from Woodbury...

Hey everyone. I’ve been hanging out around GlockTalk for about a year. I’ve been looking for something that will keep me more in touch with what’s going on locally. So that’s why I’m at MNGunTalk.

I have been shooting handguns and some rifles on and off for a few years and bought my first handgun last November (Glock 19). I get out to shoot about once a month, now that I’ve finished school. I know there’s numerous places to shoot around the Twin Cities, and I plan to start scouting them out.

In an attempt to get a feel for what everyone’s preferences are in this forum, I thought I might ask a couple questions. What’s everyone’s firearm of choice (hand or long gun), and where do you like to shoot most often? I didn’t have to ask the first question at the GlockTalk forum, since most there are big Glockers.

Hi, I'm also from Woodbury.

My first gun (in 1994) was also a Glock 19 - I still have it. Nowadays, 1911s are my favorite.

I'm an Oakdale member and generally shoot there.

Sig handguns - mostly at Metro GC in the winter as well as IDPA and steel in the summer. I really enjoy shooting sporting clays but really only do it a few times a year so Sig handguns take #1 for me.

Welcome! I like all guns. Right no using mostly 1911s, but love my Glock and revolvers as well. I Shoot at Bill's twice a week for the heck of it as well as IDPA.

Welcome! I typically carry a S&W SW9VE. I usually shoot at Ahlman's in Faribault since it's cheap and half assed- like me.
