Welcome Blue.
If you plan on using your XDm for competitions, Ya might want to make sure the mag release works flawless. I sold mine for that reason. I loved everything about that gun with the exception the mag had a heck of a time releasing.
The more left in the mag the worse it was. PBLark proly remembers my frustration at one of Dons classes. I contacted the MFG rep and they were aware of the problem and told me to send it in. So I did......sent it in to the auction block, So to speak.
Anywho.... :welcome:

Thanks for the welcome, Guys!

Mike, I'll be sure to check the mag release when I'm ready to purchase.
Is it something that develops with use over time or would it be apparent right away?

You'll have to check it with a full mag, half and just a couple rounds in it. Mine did it new and after 2000 rounds through it. Made no difference what mags I used.
