New from Hudson, Wi

Postby McJohnny on Tue Jul 26, 2011 7:40 am

Found this place referenced in a post on glocktalk.com, so I thought I'd register and say hello.

I'm a native of Hibbing, spent 20 years in Colorado and moved back to the area in November 2009.

Cheers.

Welcome from another Hudson-ite! I have some land on the outskirts of town with a small range. If you hear shooting... it might be me!

Welcome from Shakopee. Did you ever visit Marge's in Evelyth?

Thanks all.

Yukonjasper - where on the range?

Pezhead - no, never spent much time in Eveleth, and depending on how long ago Marge's was established it may or may not have been there. I left the range in 1975.

Virginia

I think Marge's is the old Roosevelt. I think they call it Marge's Roosevelt Bar.

A little Range geography lesson. Hibbing is more on the West end of the Iron Range and Virginia is more to the East Range. Both are kind of Central because the Iron Ranges stretch from Grand Rapids to Babbit.

We always have to stop at Marge's Liquor store when we're up that way. I work with several people from up there.
