And where would REAL northern MN be?

The true home of Paul Bunyan. Where he and his trusty ox, Babe, guard the lake shore and look northwest to the vast northern Minnesota pines.

Been living in the cities for 24 years now (moved as a kid) but still think of Duluth as home

Instead of starting another thread I'll intooduce myself here...Live in Proctor (we look down on Duluth ;) ) middle aged...just got into shooting after years of just being a hunter. Belong to a club, constantly trolling the gunshops and pawn shops and am slowly wrecking my rotator cuff hauling my ammobox to and from the car at the range. Don't know much about anything....but like the info I've seen here after lurking for a while. :) I hope to meet some of you some day and if there is anything I can help you with regarding the Duluth area don't hesitate to ask!

Welcome aboard. I grew up about 75 miles west of Duluth. Parents still live up there. Unfortunately, I'm stuck down here in Moscow on the Mississippi for the next 15-20 years.
